What is a market transaction?
Price transactions are divided into buying at market price and selling at market price:
【Buy at market price】
That is, according to the existing pending orders, if you request to buy at the market price, you will give priority to the transaction with Sell 1. If the order quantity is not reached, the deal will be sold with 3, and so on.
【Sell at market price】
In the same way, first make a deal with buy 1 and not reach the entrusted amount, and then deal with buy 2, buy 3, and buy 4 respectively, until the entrusted amount is reached.
Market price transactions are also called "take orders", because the image is to "eat" what others have listed by buying one selling one, buying two selling two. Of course, buying with a limit price that is much higher than sell 1 or selling with a limit price that is much lower than buy 1 can also achieve the effect of "taking orders".
For example, if the current disk is as follows:
-------------Price-----Pending Orders----
Sell 5: 25 2
Sell 4: 24 2
Sell 3: 23 3
Sell 2: 22 2
Sell 1: 21 2
----------------------------------
Latest transaction price: 9.1
----------------------------------
Buy 1: 20 1
Buy 2: 19 2
Buy 3: 18 3
Buy 4: 17 2
Buy 5: 16 3
-------------Price-----Pending Orders----
1. If John places a buy order at the market price of 100 usdt, then John order will get the following transaction results:
21usdt, 2 transactions = 42usdt
22usdt, 2 transactions = 44usdt
23usdt, 0.6 transactions = 14usdt
In other words, Johng bought 4.6 coins with 100 usdt, and the average transaction price was 100/4.6 = 21.73 usdt
2. If John places a market price sell order of 7 coins, then John market price order will get the following transaction results:
20usdt, 1 transaction = 20usdt
19usdt, 2 transactions = 38usdt
18usdt, 3 transactions = 54usdt
17usdt, 1 transaction = 17usdt
In other words, John got 20+38+54+17 = 129usdt by selling 7 coins
Special Reminder:
Please be cautious when handling market buy orders and market sell orders. When the market depth is sufficient, market orders may be traded at a price closer to the current price. However, when the market depth is insufficient, transactions at sky-high prices or land prices are likely to occur.
